Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl 2003
For den sjarmerende småkjeltringen kaptein Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) er det krystallblå karibiske havet en lekeplass rik på eventyr og mysterier. Men Jacks idylliske liv kullseiler når hans erkefiende, den ondskapsfulle kaptein Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush), stjeler skipet hans Black Pearl, angriper havnebyen Port Royal, og, ikke minst, kidnapper guvenørens (Jonathan Pryce) vakre datter Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley).
